Custom Designed Waveski's

Whatever your style, whatever your ability, if you want a light performance waveski, call Macski!  As light as a surfboard, just throw it under your arm and run down to the surf.

Macski Custom makes Custom waveskis, but sometimes a great shape is born and just needs to be customised to suit your style.
The Macski Killa (round/pin tail) and the Macski Fish (squash/square tail) are two such tried and tested shapes. All of the 'old school' macski waveski shapes and templates are still available too.

Tail shape

Choose the tail shape that best suites your riding style and conditions. The most common shapes being; square, squash, round, rounded pin and fish.

Rail Shape

Rail shape

Sharp or chunky rails will be combined with hard and or soft rails and then customized to suit the type of waves you surf and your ability.

Bottom Deck shape

The V shaped hull is the most common waveski choice as the riders find the rail to rail transitions a lot smoother on this shape. Single concave, double concave or single into double are some of the other choices.

Fin Set up

Fin set up

The tri-fin or thruster set up is the most popular and most effective on waveski’s as well as stand-up surfing. The two side fins are positioned under the seat of the rider with the centre fin slightly further back.

Leash plug insert

Leash plug insert

Built in leash plug before the waveski is glassed for extra strength. Some riders will choose to rather just attach their paddle leash to the footstraps.

Quad belt insert

Quad belt insert

This system mainly used by the Ausie riders allows for an extra set of straps to be attached from each hip, over the thigh and attach to the waveski between the legs. The quad system is another useful option but it hasn’t really taken off too much in the waveski community.
